Assume control of a lord trying to conquer the Holy Land during the Crusades and defeat your enemies by building castles, raising fortifications, organizing resource gathering and creating an army to dominate the region. Different sets of maps are available.

Stronghold: Crusader is the successor to Firefly Studios's 2001 game Stronghold. The game features several new Arabian units that can be purchased in a new building, the mercenary post.
